Why Anyone With a Migraine Should Drink Grape Juice

If you suffer from migraine, then you definitely know how bad and painful it can be.

In the worst cases, migraines can cause vomiting, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound. The migraine pain can also be accompanied by neck pain, depression, mood swings, food cravings, constipation, or diarrhea.

If you suffer from migraine, it is important to consult with your doctor to find out more about what causes your type of migraine and how to alleviate the symptoms.

While some foods/drinks can cause migraines such as red wine, grape juice is one of the most effective ways to ease your pain and to prevent migraines.

Here is how grape juice relieves migraines

Grapes are rich in Vitamin C, B12 and riboflavin. They are really beneficial for your body, especially for the liver. So, if you have a migraine, then try grape juice.

It is recommended to make homemade grape juice, because the grape juice bought from the store, doesn’t contain riboflavin and has added sugar.

Here is how to prepare your own grape juice:

1. First remove the grapes from their stems and wash them with water.

2. Add the grapes in a blender and blend. Then cook the grapes in a pot on the stove for about 10 minutes on medium heat.

3. Strain the pot into a drinking glass or other storage container through cheesecloth. Repeat this twice.

4. Remove the strainer and left over grapes and put the grape juice into the fridge to cool down.

Enjoy your healing homemade grape juice!
