Diet & Weight Loss

3 UNUSUAL ADVICE FOR LOSING WEIGHT THAT ACTUALLY WORK

We all want to lose weight, but we cannot stick to a diet. Our love towards food is simply unbeatable! However, you don’t have to worry anymore because there are tricks that can help you watch out for your diet. The following advice may seem a little foolish. Nevertheless, they are worth the try since the results of losing weight will last forever.

1. Toothpaste diet

This doesn’t mean that you have to eat toothpaste. The taste of menthol can help you hold on to your diet. If you cannot control your meals and resist your favorite deserts, wash your teeth with menthol toothpaste. It will let your brain believe that the meal is over. If you still decide to grab a bite, you will realize that food and menthol are not a good combination. However, if you cannot wash your teeth or if you feel hungry, grab a menthol chewing gum.

2. Repulsive food

You cannot put your fork down even when you have already eaten too much? Make the food on your plate to look repulsive. For example, put the utensils on your plate. You won’t want to eat with dirty forks, spoons or knives. You can also crumble your napkin and put it on your plate as well.  Apart from this, put on a picture from your “fat-self” on the fridge as a reminder that you have to watch what you eat.

3. Thoroughly clean your kitchen

If you really want to stick to your diet, clean your kitchen cabinets and the fridge and get rid of unhealthy food. Once you throw away all the snacks, fill in your cabinets and your fridge with fresh food, vegetables, nuts and other similar products. That way, whenever you are craving food, at least you will eat something healthy that will not make you gain weight.
