7 Beauty treatments to avoid before wedding

If you don’t want to have on the big day a hair color that you hate or to have irritated skin, you should avoid going to these seven treatments in the last minute.

1. A new hair color
When should you do it? 6 months before. If you want to make a drastic change to your hair color, then it’s best to try a long time before the wedding. If you don’t like it, you have time to change it. If it’s a simple retouching, then a week ahead is enough.

2. Chemical peeling
When should you do it? At least 3 weeks before. This treatment should be avoided before any event, much longer before your wedding. The main reason is that it leaves your skin red for three days, and that’s something you can’t easily cover with makeup.

3. Microdermabrasion
When should you do it? At least 2 weeks before the wedding. Similar to chemical peeling, the skin may have quite strong reactions.

4. Microblading
When should you do it? At least 3 months before. This technique for semipermanent eyebrows offers amazing results, but since it lasts for about a year, it’s best to look for a professional person. Microblading basically means tattooing small hairs and it’s normal for irritations and swelling to occur for 48 hours after the procedure. Moreover, the effect is more dramatic at first and only after a week eyebrows will get a more natural look.

5. Cleaning treatment
When should you do it? At least 2 weeks before. It’s normal that after all the stress with the preparations, you want to relax with a treatment, but doing your cleansing is not the best idea. The extractions will irritate your skin and leave some inflamed areas, so don’t try to do this near the event.

6. Botox
When should you do it? 5-6 weeks before. The results of these injections occur after about 3 weeks, so if you want to do this, it’s best to think in advance. If it’s the first time you want to use botox, it’s recommended from 6 months to one year before this event.

7. Dermaplaning
When do you do it? A week before. Using a thin blade, the dead cells are removed, as well as the puff from your face, the skin is thus exfoliated and bright. Even if this treatment doesn’t usually have strong effects, it’s best to give your skin a week to fully recover.
