How to clean your house – tips from specialists

House cleaning is a great challenge for any housewife. When, how and how often we should clean the house? Questions with subjective answers, to which everyone responds as they wish or know.

There are, however, some suggestions from the specialists that you will definitely want to consider.

Here are some opinions of microbiologist experts about cleaning your house:

WC – It’s a real outbreak for bacteria. So, in order not to get sick, clean and disinfect the toilet at least once a week.

The bathtub – should be cleaned every two weeks or once a week if you take showers frequently. Curtains from the shower should be disinfected once a week. Thus you will avoid the appearance of mold.

Towels – gather many bacteria because they are always wet. It’s best to change your body towel every day. In change, the kitchen towels should be washed weekly.

Dishwashing sponge – Another outbreak of bacteria. Fortunately, not all of them are harmful. Specialists recommend that every day, after using your sponge, leave it in boiling water for 2 minutes or keep it for two minutes in the microwave. Change the sponge to a maximum of one week.

The sink – is quickly filled with harmful bacteria. The bathroom, for example, also accumulates faeces, from washing your hands after using the toilet. Also, food bacteria (E. coli and Salmonella) can catch life on the kitchen sink, especially if you use raw meat. Conclusion: The sink, no matter where it is, should be disinfected every day.

Sheets – bacteria and fungi, dirt and oils that are released from the skin during sleep remain on the sheets and on the pillowcases, and from here they reach the skin, causing acne and dandruff. Change the sheets once a week.

Carpets – should be vacuumed weekly to remove dust, dirt and allergens.

The kitchen sandstone must be washed every 2-3 days, and from other rooms at least once at every 2 weeks.
