Applying Pressure on This Point on Your Belly Will Remove Toxins from the Colon

We all found ourselves sitting on the toilet and straining, trying to finish a bowel movement. However, you probably didn’t know that there is a simple point which you can apply pressure to and which will help you complete the bowel movement.

This point, or like I call it button, is found on your body and it is called the “sea of energy” by acupressure experts. All you need to do is measure three finger widths under the belly button.

Before you start this, make sure that you are close to a toilet, for evident reasons. Next, press the poop button with your three fingers. Breathe deeply while doing this. Do not stop pressing till you feel the urge to go to the toilet. This can last 10 seconds at the minimum and 3 minutes at the maximum.

The Way It Works

Dr. Michael Reed Gach is an acupressure therapist and says that this button revives the healing processes of the body. A considerable part of the healing process is eliminating waste.

Previous research has also proven that abdominal massaging, like the one pressing the poop button, leads to a drive in the body, thereby the bowels start to move and clear the house. Dr. Gach adds that besides causing bowel movements, this button relieves rectal pains, digestive problems, menstrual cramps and gas.

Additional Pooping Tips!

  1. Squat

Toilets in North America have a major design flow, they require a sitting position. When in this position, the body is placed wrong. For optimal pooping, the body needs to be in a squat position.

  1. Relax

When a person sits on the toilet for a couple of minutes, the thing that we all usually do is push very hard. However, doing that is wrong.

Pushing hard stresses your body. Moreover, it can cause bowel bursting or fatal heart arrhythmia in some cases. These are very painful and can cause more problems. Be patient.

  1. Remain Active

Adults need to perform 75 minutes of aerobic activity at the minimum every week. Doing exercise stimulates the contraction of the intestinal muscles. This is vital for eliminating waste effectively.

  1. Consume Fiber

In case you have persistent constipation, eating plenty of fiber is the thing you need to do. Some of the sources are beans, berries, flax seeds and prunes. Fiber will make your stool retain water, thereby making it much softer.
