Sitting all day doesn’t do well to anyone. Unfortunately, this is one of the aspects that most office jobs require and unfortunately, life in the school environment doesn’t have much to say when it comes to turning into a sedentary person for most of the day.
However, there are some truly effective exercises that you can do if you sit all day and counteract the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Here’s a hint: Exercises are extremely light and certainly will not require going to the gym, especially if you don’t kill yourself like this kind of activity.
1. Squats for beginners – This classic and always effective exercise engages several muscle groups at the same time, including buttocks, femoral biceps, quadriceps, gambles, lumbar and abdomen. In addition, it improves flexibility and posture and activates blood circulation. So get ready to be defeated, dear office chairs!
2. Lunges – Shape is extremely important to get the most out of the lunges Keep your knees in line with the ankles to avoid hyperextension and engage the center of the body. 3. Wall sit – will completely awaken your lower body, no matter how stiff it feels. Here’s how to do the perfect exercise: push your back against the wall and lower the lower body until your thighs are parallel to the floor, in order to engage the muscles of the legs. The biggest challenge is to stay in this position as much as possible, so try to distract yourself with an article you still wanted to read but for which you have never had time, or you can even take a few calls which you missed during the day. You can also raise your legs if you feel the need to provoke you even more.
