Olive oil

With so many uses in the pharmaceutical and make-up industry, olive oil is also great for treating external hemorrhoids, mostly because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. You could either consume it – 1 teaspoon per day, or combine it with plum juice and apply it to your hemorrhoids to relieve the welling and pain.

Bags of black tea

The tannic acid which is contained in the black tea is a natural astringent and is excellent for reducing swelling and pain. Just soak the tea bag in hot water and let it cool off a little bit before applying it on your hemorrhoid (or your swollen veins) and hold it for 10 minutes. You could also repeat this procedure several times a day.
