20 Deadly Cancer Signs Most Women Neglect

Nowadays, cancer has become the most widespread disease. Studies show that women often ignore these common indicators of cancer.
Being able to recognize early warning signs of cancer can save a life.So it’s up to the people to limit the risk factors and undergo appropriate cancer screening. People with risk factors include smokers, heavy alcohol, genetics, and high sun exposure. The best way to prevent cancer is by lowering the risk factors and early detection.

It’s just important to notice your body if anything is different, odd or unexplained, don’t just rely on the routine test alone to protect cancer. Here are signs or symptoms that most women neglect which includes;

1. Shortness of breath or wheezing:

The inability to catch the breathing. It occurs when women face difficulty in inhaling or exhale in normal condition. Women with heavy smokers and drinkers can face this kind of symptoms or signs.

2. Persistent cough or blood-tinged saliva:

Chronic cough and chest pain may occur when there are leukaemia and lung tumours that cause symptoms like bad cough or bronchitis. Some patients report chest pain that extends up to the shoulder or down the arm.

3. Breast Lump or breast discharge:

Sometimes breast lump is a sign of cysts but thoroughly investigated with appropriate X-ray study. The discharge of breast may be a common sign but it may be a sign of cancer. Women are advised to conduct monthly breast examination.

4. A change in urination:

It is a symptom of prostate cancer. This results in frequent urination, small amounts of urine, slow urine flow or a general change in bladder function.

5. Swollen lymph nodes or lumps on the neck, groin or underarm:

Changes in the lymphatic system and enlarged lymph can be a sign of cancer.

6. Excessive bruising or bleeding that doesn’t stop:

Abnormal happening with the platelets and red blood cells which is a sign of leukaemia that lets to a blood clot, impairing the blood’s ability to carry oxygen.

7. Bloating or abdominal weight gain:

Women diagnosed with ovarian cancer report unexplained abdominal bloating.

8. Vaginal bleeding:

Unusual vaginal bleeding may be an early sign of cancer of the uterus. Women should be evaluated after intercourse or bleeding between periods.

9. Continued itching in the anal and genital area:

Precancerous of the condition of the skin of genitals or anal areas can cause itching; it results in a change in skin colour. Several infections or skin condition can cause fungal infections also can cause symptoms.

10. Back pain, pelvic pain, bloating:

It can be a symptom of ovarian cancer, where there is a strain or muscle spasms.

11. Indigestion or difficulty swallowing:

A condition called Barrett’s oesophagus, that may lead to cancer of the oesophagus and can be treated with medication or monitored by the doctor.

12. Blood in the stool:

Blood in the stool could show an early signal of a serious problem such as colon cancer. It’s becoming a common problem under the age of 50.

13. Stomach pain or nausea:

If you are experiencing sudden and persistent stomach cramps that last more than two weeks, its time to visit a doctor. Stomach pain and nausea can be a sign of leukaemia, oesophagal, liver, pancreatic cancer.

14. Sores or pain in the mouth:

When the pain in the mouth that sticks around for more than two weeks, it’s very important to pay attention to swelling, numbness or pain in the jaw. This may lead to oral cancer and can be genetics.

15. Frequent fevers or infection:

Frequent fevers are an infection can be an early sign of leukaemia or lymphoma that weakens the immune system and make you ill. It can be an early sign of lymphoma cancer.

16. Chronic headache:

A chronic headache could be a signal lymphoma. It can come up with brain cancer and requires seeing a doctor for headaches and double vision.

17. Unexplained weight loss:

Weight loss is a sign of digestive cancer; it can spread it to the liver.

18. Change in nails:

Change in the colour of nails can be symptoms of liver cancer, skin cancer or lung cancer.

19. Belly Ache:

This may be a sign of collateral cancer.

20. Fatigue:

This can be a symptom of several cancer without proper signs.
